Eating out — that’s one of the things (plus travelling, going out with friends etc.) we missed ever since the pandemic happened. Pre-Covid, eating out has been part of our regular routine. We’d usually have lunch out a few times a week. It gives us time to unwind and discuss business (while squeezing in a bit of chismis). Usually, Coco would choose the location, but will get scolded by Fifi for exceeding the budget. We keep track of our lunch expenses!
But since March 2020, we’ve been dining out less as health and safety concerns become a priority. Currently, we’ve been bringing our own home-cooked meals to work. Even before, we’ve been saying we should try to eat out less, and cook more. It never happened until recently. Nowadays, bringing own meals to work has been the new norm as most people are especially hesitant to dine out given the current situation. And with this, we had an idea!
We thought maybe it’s time we launch our own lunch bags! Our goal — heavy on style, even heavier on functionality, since we seldom see lunch bags that put emphasis on both.
Our Ladies Who Lunch Lunch Bags or LWL Lunch Bags are locally-inspired and crafted by local artisans (#SupportLocal). They’re made from Vegan Leather and lined with insulated fabric. Plus, they come in three beautiful colors — Classic Black, Nude and Tan. It’s spacious enough to hold containers, utensils, water bottle and even an extra snack or two.
And since we love how they turned out, we thought why not design a whole collection that includes backpacks and laptop bags too — all featuring locally-inspired designs. Thus, our New Work Essentials Collection was formed. These are all made by our local artisans.
Besides our LWL Lunch Bags, we'll also be releasing our Malaya Laptop Bags. They're made of Vegan Leather. Lightly padded on the inside, and with two pockets on the exterior, your 13"-15" laptop and other accessories + documents will fit nicely. We made sure to offer a selection of colors too — Nude, Blush, Tan and Burgundy.
To round up the collection, we'll also be releasing Isobel Backpacks, available in Classic Black, Nude and Tan. Also crafted with Vegan Leather. They're spacious enough that you can lug around most of your everyday essentials comfortably. And don't forget to check out those beautiful tassel details!
